Sketch Challenge!

Ooh, I'm not very good with this 'Setting a challenge on the right day 'lark! I really do try my best, but then the day just runs away with me!

Anyhoo, here is this weeks challenge, and it's a sketch challenge, and we all know how much we love a sketch to challenge us? Don't forget the random winner from this weeks challenge also wins a little prize, so lets see what out wonderful DT have come up with to inspire us...

How gorgeous is this! Kim has worked her magic again creating a wonderful shopping scene, and this card really does illustrate that you don't have to incorporate all the elements on a sketch 'as is' I alo love how Kim has used the free download paper from docrafts.com to make up the colour of the grass. Please note: the papers will be available as a free download to members of the new creativity club - coming soon on docraft.com.

Just look at all those lovely handbags... and shoes! I think Tina must have had fun with this card. I love the colours Tina has used and the layout is still there!

I love the monochromatic colour scheme, and the greeting is perfect for the picture " I have been shopping for years & I still have nothing to wear!" Gorgeous!

I love the pink and black colour scheme on this card, and again the greeing also included in the stamp set..."so many shops...so little time!" is soooo me!

The Stampin' Chic 'Be Chic' Challenge

Well we are a day late for the Stampin' Chic 'Be Chic' Challenge, and I must apologise. I was to set the challenge yesterday, but I was so excited at the thought of going to see Sir Tom Jones perform at Manchester with my friend Sheila, that I completely forgot until it was too late! The show was amazing, and now I'm here with my feet firmly planted on the ground to set the Challenge.

Colour Challenge - Autumnal Colours

Soooo, this week is the turn of the colour challenge.

Last time, the colours we asked you to use were colours that remind you of Summer, and as the seasons change from Summer to Autumn ( or Fall, for any US readers out there) this time we have chosen to focus on the warm scrummy colours of Autumn.

Clare's Craft Club POSTPONED!

Hi there everyone,

This is just a quick message to let you know that the craft club information/enrolment night being held on the 9th September that I had spoken in person to some of you about has had to be postponed indefinitely. I will be away with work, and this couldn't be changed. I am very disappointed about this as I was so looking forward to it, but this is a postponement and I will be arranging a date in the near furure.

I'm sorry I couldn't contact each of you personally, but I have lost the book that all your details were written in and despite my best efforts I cannot locate it anywhere. I truly do hope you get this message saving a wasted journey.

Technique Challenge - Glitter!

So, on to this weeks challenge...

Glitter..do you love it or hate it? Well, we would like you to use glitter in your project this time. As usual, in order to enter the challenge we would like you to use at least one CCSR product, be it stamps or papers, and this week it's just for fun.

Just have a look at the fantastic ideas that the Design team have come up with this week. They are sure to inspire you and whet your appetite for the sparkly stuff!

I just love this card. The colours go so well with the wintery theme and the glittery letters makes it feel as though a snow storm is just around the corner!

Sheila said that glitter makes her think of either Christmas or Disco, so as you can see she opted for Christmas...only joking! As you can see Sheila is strutting her stuff on the dance floor wearing a glitterly all in one, whilst I'm sat at the side rubbing my aching feet after being stomped on by Sheila! Seriously though, Sheila's only got small feet, so she wouldn't do much damage. I'm loving this Sheila!

Mmm, I just love the colours on this card. Tina has used Anita's 3D clear gloss as the glue for the glitter (one of my fave all time products!), but then as an added bonus, she has glossed over the top of her glittered areas to lock in the glitter, eliminating shedding! What a clever idea, Tina!
